You could get the underside much better with a bit more leather. The pieces I had were a real tight fit to not run out

Thank dude, order a Dynamic to make some comparison to the Composit as I've yet to tried it.

Composit is really comfortable, but wondering how a Dynamic will feel.

looking at getting a selle smp TRK or Extra for my tourer. Can't afford the big pimpin models, but wondering if anyone's got one and if so, if it's as effective? A bit concerned the padding will be stupidly spongy/thick.

Got a TRK, literally never used. £25? The padding is rather thick...

I used an extra on my cross-check down the pacific coast of the US, never missed a beat, and wasn't too padded with bib-shorts. It's not pretty, but it's fucking comfy. Be ready for a bit more of a nose-up position if you're sat pretty upright on the tourer though

Spunked on an SMP Hell as it's the best that I could afford and was put off by the Extra and Trk's massive amount of padding. Just got it today and I'm pretty disappointed how cheap it looks for a £90 saddle-I'd read somewhere that it was leather covered, it isn't, and the padding still feels too spongy like it's designed for leisure rather than sport cycling. Meh.

Any dynamics or gliders for sale? :)

@Sumo might have an evolution ..

I'll be keeping hold of that for the forseeable future. The lack of padding on the Composit isn't great on the turbo.

I want to try a Dynamic next. Any fancy doing a trade with an Evolution for a bit?

If doing that you could have just stripped a Trk though?
