This is a long shot as these things seem to be rarer a clean bicycle racer in the 1990's, but i'm after a 27.4 mm inline seatpost, not 27.2, but 27.4. thomson make one but can't find one in stock anywhere.
having some tolerance issues on a frame that was far, far too expensive to be allowed to have tolerance issues :( every 27.2 seatpost I've tried has too much play in the seat tube and creaks. warranty replacement on the frame isn't possible due to various circumstances so, hoping that an extra 0.2mm on the seatpost will solve the problem otherwise its going mean an expensive modification on the frame by a carbon repair place, which would be rather annoying to put it mildly. cheers in advance
I have a black Thomson elite in 27.4, (330mm long) brand new, but I don't have the packaging.
I can post in unless you want to come to sunny Reading.
Make me an offer!
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot

For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:
```
Your code goes here
```
Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
If you upload more than 5 files we will display all attachments as thumbnails.
