I simply can't @Amey
I cooked £50 worth of ZIPP pads in one day and spent every descent hoping my wheels/tubes/tyres weren't going to explode, whilst also cringing at the squealing that was going on while I was riding the Giant.
The heaviest day of climbing and descending was a bit wet so I rode the Cannondale. What a difference. Pure, confidence inspiring with predictable and consistent braking, and the ability to brake as hard as I wanted/needed without worry.
My CAAD10 disk sits at 8.2kg
I honestly couldn't care less - I had it up Hardknott, Wrynose and The Struggle back to back at the weekend and it reinvigorated my love of the bike after pretty much loving/hating it since new.
It also turns out, if you smash your bike up 30%+ hills, it stops the BB creaking.
And:
(Mavic Aksium Disc + CX77) > (Zipp 303 + DA BR-9000)
when descending like a motherfucker.
