Yeah, this version of loctite is decribes as permenant so I'm not expecting to ever remove the cog again.. I've got a nearly new 17t cog which I'm going to use.
Plan is to glue it, and then skid it down the biggest hill I can find (with a front brake on) and if it survives that then I'd feel safe using it. I got the Bb lockring as a somewhat secondary precaution, not sure if there's enough thread for it though

This wont come off easily, so choose the cog wisely.
On the Sram S300 the chainring bolts are glued with the green one (which is supposed to be weaker). Had to drill them out after all.
