I'll give that basin guy a call today if he's a bit lame... can't be dealing with ikea basins and their tap holes. I bought those (just) @Airhead approved taps as they were the nicest ones I could find IMO below 1k a pop.
I got a lad off my builder too, seems a decent chap, just said he'll throw in a freebie if I help with his website, just advice, what could go wrong! Ha.
I'm paying a bit more per week but its the lowest quote I could get I haggled it down a few hundred. Not sure why they were coming in so high on a simple build, postcode?

I am in pre-gentrified neighbourhood bordered with suburbia. Nearest flat white is 1-ish mile away. South east ;)
We are also thinking of an extension at the back so I am thinking of making a small 2nd bathroom there, so maybe will use Lusso then. It was purely logistical for us, I like their product. I found them by googling 'Corian basin' which is what I'd ideally like but couldnt find them (to buy) on the interweb.

Replicate @Tenderloin 's bathroom in smaller space basically .. there is some wall layout change involved so about 2 week's worth of work. He is charging £1k per week.

We went with a simple basin from VP as we were on tight deadline and that Lusso guy didnt pick up his phone on sat; Also went with placeholder silver Bristan taps .. will source black at some point.
Work started 2 days ago, the guy who is doing is a ledge .. very professional. Got him from MyBuilder.
