Just wanted to know how fast a course it is
11½ minutes slower than the A100/4, it seems. For Tops, anyway - it's 10½ minutes for @umop3pisdn

Yes, not slow by any means.
Weather looks OK, changing a bit though. At least hopefully not rain! -

@xavierdisley @umop3pisdn any Aerocoach aero bottles in the pipeline?
-
• #13105
Official AeroCoach doctrine is that the fastest bottle is no bottle.
-
• #13106
"The lightest, most aerodynamic part is the one you leave at home..."

Ah, 'There is no spoon'. Got it.

These were hot to trot at the Giro...

Just don't try and use them BTA

Bet that big straw fucks things up. Have you ever used the Shiv DT bladder?
-
• #13112
I tried it a couple of times when I first got the bike but didn't like the slow refill rate so never really bothered with it. I use the massive downtube to store the batteries for the motor now...
-
• #13113
Motor? And you still haven't got those club records!?
-
• #13114
Maybe they had bigger motors.

Soooo, you hold one in four of your club records at the most popular distances......

going to give a lazer wasp a try, the change is helped by the fact I dropped my selector on Sunday evening and the eye shield has cracked in half, its currently held together with some electrical tape which makes me go cross eyed when wearing it!

Yeah, one way of looking at it. Another way, is I have the longest CTT event record, one of the BBAR distance records and one of the short distance records. Which basically makes me fucking awesome at everything.
The fact I'm so modest about all this makes me truly a god amongst men too.

You are not awesome until you have completed the labours you have set yourself, cleaned the Augean stables and captured the Cretan bull. You will probably eat the bull once you have captured it.

I picked up a second hand Lazer Wasp from overseas on eBay, trying it out for the first time this weekend. Takes an awful lot of goes to get it on without a faff, you have to remove the eye shield and pop open each side of the helmet around the ears to get your noggin into it.
Not sure where you work, but if it's London you can borrow my Selector shield for Sunday, I can bring it into work tomorrow.

I'm in Marlow, but thanks for the offer, not "racing" until the ECCA100 (if I get a ride) so not in any major rush really.
Sounds complex, so acceptable for TTs not so much for Tri's!
Stuart Auckland is selling his so going to give it a try at tonight's maidenhead club 10, if it fits and hits my back I'll buy it and probably race in it!

Ron Brown 100, HQ to start:
Yes, you do have to ride along a short section of the course to get to the start. The route to the start will be clearly signposted.

Thanks! @umop3pisdn

Anyone by any miracle got a 55t 110bcd chainring going spare (or know where I can pick one up quickly)? Rotor ideally - seem to be out of stock everywhere. Cheers!
Always good to know. Just wanted to know how fast a course it is.
