For the sake of @Aroogah, let's not continue.
I was hoping that this morning I can pack the little one in her child seat and ride down to grandma's, but it's spitting again, and i don't think it'd do her good to get drenched on the back for an hour, so there goes my "commute" today.
I can't find Adelaide 2015 so this is the whole of SA compared to Melbourne last year
2015 Melb
Wettest overall 1142.4 mm at Ferny Creek
Wettest day 55.0 mm at Bundoora (Latrobe University) on 11 Oct
Strongest wind gust 128 km/h at St Kilda Harbour - RMYS on 28 Feb
2015 SA
Wettest overall 939.4 mm at Uraidla
Wettest day 156.0 mm at Gammon Ranges (Moolawatana) on 10 Jan
Strongest wind gust 135 km/h at Mount Crawford AWS on 5 May
I see what you mean Melbourne is wetter overall but Adelaide gets more rain in those three months. Melbourne is still colder in winter and generally and wetter generally.
