I have Adamos on a few bikes too and need to zip tie the ends together on all of them otherwise it's game over. This new one is a hell of a lot lighter than an Adamo (about 2/3 the weight) and the RRP is lower too.

Well worth the trip if there's no fresh paint in your house which you could watch drying.

Half six? You're down as #25 yes? That's an early start. I may try to get there for your finish, but hanging about for another hour-and-a-half for Sandy to finish might be a bit trying on my low boredom threshold.

I expect the course record will go, but with good weather are we expecting the comp record too?

Well, if you're there for the end of my run you'll get extra sweatiness, which is always a bonus.

First fixed TT for me. Interesting experience... Was planning on riding 56x15 but wimped out and went for 56x16 at the last minute. Course was the H10/17r, and predictably I felt both slightly over-geared on the drag up to the turn and then under geared on the way back. AP was pretty equivalent to geared 10s but the NP was a fraction higher. Frustratingly I was only 7 seconds away from a course PB, despite not having my disc and my position feeling noticeably worse than my proper TT bike.

Pretty fun really but I'm going to struggle to match my normal TT position with the track bike geometry.
