Little encounter using the zebra crossing next to Henry Cavendish Primary in Balham as a ped last night.
As I approached, there was a lady already on the crossing, and a couple of stationary cars, so I went ahead and began to cross.
As I stepped out I was unaware of the chap on the MTB who had decided to cycle through the crossing behind the lady before she was all the way across - and who hadn't seen me either.
Looked up as he skidded to a halt about a metre from my right leg. Locked eyes with him and raised my eyebrows. Continued with my journey.
Hadn't intended to deal with it in such an accidentally alpha fashion, but hey, whatever works...
