£1500 run around is a political not economical choice. Shows he's a man of the people, doing man of the people things. Pretty slick bit of PR from Call Me Dave there. Only cost £1500 and he got a bonus car.

Not a chance, DC is playing the long game. He's seen Tony Blair, he knows a little investment now will go a long way when he gives up this hobby job and gets down to the real business of making some cash.
