No I was positing that the fall in religiosity isn't a simple case of oppressive, patriarchal doctrines getting what they deserve. Harmless people are affected too. That's a bit shit. Part of my point is that if communities are based around a church, to get rid of that church too quickly, before there is a secular alternative, could be harmful.
