I've not tried the AT's but the V6 are simply superb cans. I like as neutral and balanced sound as possible which is exactly what the Sony's deliver. They're relatively light but well built, and comfy to wear for long periods. The only negatives are that the long cord make them a bit of a faff to use on the go and the faux leather ear cushions tend to start peeling/cracking, but that's only after lots of use and replacements are cheap.
If you're into a natural sound and will be using these stationary then I can't recommend them enough. I've got a pair of the MDR-7506 which were an upgrade but actually prefer the V6's....

I'm after so over ear headphones for using only in the office, I am no audiophile and priority is comfort. I'm happy spending £60, £100 less so. Recommendations?
