The reason why they could sell the frames so (rather) cheap was that they just bought what was on the mass-market; they didn't do any research or whatsoever. But the Billato and Ciöcc frames are nice, that's for sure. And their eighties frames are OK too as those often were made by local craftsmen who knew how to weld decent tubing (Columbus Sl e.g.). But from the nineties on most of their bikes that weren't Ciöcc or Billato, were really cheap low end stuff.
