lovely, came out very nice, you just sprinkle the flakes on ?
-
• #5
mix the flakes with the first clear coat, then do another pure clear coat to 'secure' them
-
• #6
ok so you painted on the clear coat ?
-
• #7
instead of spraying it, tempted to copy your grey color scheme

Really nice frameset. What's the thinking with the new forks? ... so you can run a brake?
-
• #11
keeping them, raw to match the headtube, kinda making it up as I go along at this point

forks came up nicely

might line the lugs or strip back the where the top tube and bottom tube meet the head tube a bit, and also completely raw the bottom bracket shell, not sure yet
Was going to sell this Due to it being to small but after 4 years with it I've changed my mind and decided to respray it instead and build it into a fancy summer bike.
The plan is to keep the seat tube paint and head tube paint, strip the rest, paint it white and tape up the chrome seatstays. I want to try and get a homemade sparkle effect going, by maybe adding glitter flakes in between clear coats (no idea how this will turn out). Something Like this minus the poor illustrator skills
blb forks
these blb hubs on ceramic open pros
layback seatpost to help with the small frame size
nitto pearl stem nitto risers, something like this
not sure on which color turbo to go for
