Porterhouse often has fairly militant bouncers. You'd probably only get away with that if it was pretty empty.
The Harp maybe, there's standing in the alley next to/behind it.
Or the Wellington at the top of Waterloo Bridge, that's got a bit of an outside seating bit. That's probably what I'd go for.

I'd grade that punnage as coarse
I guess you have to be hardcore tarmac the audience laugh at road gags

It's fine, there's about a million tons[citation needed] of circumferential compression load on the joint when the wheel is built, so that will close up.

Actually, about 6kN

tis a modular crank - will take the spidey like any other Si crank.
I think I posted about all this in the Cannondale thread recently.

Yes, if you can find a longer axle and a load of spacers. Measure how far past the nuts your current axle reaches, spacing to 126mm should be find for a steel 130mm frame.

Is there a way to respace a 120mm Novatec Track hub to 130/135mm?
Bdop have 130mm axle kits

1" threaded carbon forks - are there any new options beyond the nasty looking Nashbar version? Google is not giving me much.
I assume that cutting threads in a threadless version is a no-no.

Is changing the headset to threadless not an option?

How do I remove the last lock nut from the threaded track hub axle?
I can't get a good grip on the axle, they should have made some wrench flats on it.
I tried tightening up two other lock nuts against each other to hold, but it didn't work. -

It is. But so is buying a new bike. Both of those options have been rejected.

Fit two nuts on the other side, loosely, and then tighten them against each other so they operate as jam nuts. Then, with a spanner holding the inner jam nut in place, undo the lock nut you're trying to shift. Once it's off, loosen the two jam nuts and unthread them.

Thanks. this worked.
It was more or less what I tried yesterday, but this time I fixed one cone spanner in a vise to have a bit more control.cheers
