Got it! -

sweet. Did you make it or find it?
-
• #54
Made it. I took a photo of that jersey, traced the eagle and tidied up in Illustrator then figured out the font and manipulated it to get it right

good work! i had a khs with bendy seattube in true temper. loved it too bits, nice tubing too with different directional diameters.

• #56
nice frame that. regret selling it
-
• #57
Nice one! the eye is different from the examples in your first post.
and I'd consider trying to match the font from the tubing sticker posted on the previous page as I think it looks cooler... -

Ooof lovely frame that, it's got that precious decal too! Is that one of the seattubes where the diameter changes along the bend?
-
• #59
Looks very tidy. Have you decided on the decal colours?
-

This one?
As far as I can tell that decal was specific to the 7-11 team bikes, I agree it does look cooler and much less dated but I really want to use the original font.Well spotted with the eye. I got so lost in trying to match it to the dirty pixelated image that I forgot to cross reference with other decals, will have to have a go at fixing that

Cheers, took a while but I crashed at the weekend so got time on my hands.
I'm thinking follow my original thoughts and advise on here and go with the primary colours. Probably blue for text and red for logos. Probably metallic once I commit it to paint

"Stars & bars" or GTFO >>>

I follow all your projects and I understand your obsession about having the true temper eagle on the top tube. Besides the flash washout you might be able to use the first picture for your decal with some photoshopping

• #64
I've been thinking along similar lines...

You forgot the registered trademark sign

looks like another of those khs aero comps like my former. seattube is same diameter throughout (no cutout for the wheel) but very bendy to accommodate a presumbly shorter wheelbase and frankly, a rad look.
toptube is the most interesting as it has a vertical diameter toward the headtube and horizontal one towards the seattube.but good work on the decals, indeed some tweeks on the eye and trademark, and is it me or is the font on the driveside decal a bit smaller?

I'm glad I could help. It's unfortunately not my bike but I think rodolfo is right about the frame.

How's that eagle eyes? I left the ® off as there's no way to cut it in vinyl, thought about just putting a dot in its place but I reckon it's better off without -

wasn't thinking so much about the tires but this
Nice to see my old build still being circulated on the forums :)

oof that is a beaut! Think it's gonna have to be blue for this, the metallic decals look winning though
Shimmered nicely in the sunshine

Every opportunity I get

I came across the other day when I was working on re-creating the decal but was already well on my way. TBH I'm getting vinyl cut so I was looking more for good quality images than decals to buy, cheers though

Lovely frame and build, you still got it?
