not on the way to an event though, i'm sure its my muscular backside, but seems a bit of a faff to put in my own modesty cover on the way to and home from races I ride to...

I don't remember running into that problem - maybe I never cared or I just threw tights over the skinsuit since if I was riding to the event it was probably early season and they were required for warmth anyway.
Or, do what the cool kids do and buy your own set of numbers so you can preload it at home.

do people actually do that!?
sounds like tights is the way to go or just shove a bit of fabric in there!

How big is the window? Would it really be that noticeable on the bike?
-
• #13006
Yes.
-
• #13007
about 1cm and the whole width, which when trying on was a fetching pick check pattern, it will be which is pretty noticeable against a black background...

Bit of black insulation tape across the offending area?
-
• #13009
Strip of gaffa tape over the bum crack

Get a rectangular black oblong tat in the appropriate place. Job done.

Grow a high concentration of hair in that precise area. Buttock moustache.
Or Regaine? Or raid a hospital bin for a casually discarded scalp and graft-on.Marker pen?

If anyone is after a hipster (specialised) tri spoke, I might shift mine on, it'll never get ridden.
Got a veloflex record 20c on it. And new bearings. -

@umop3pisdn I reckon it's looking like a nice morning.

Also 'please keep quiet when arrive at the hq' Ha No chance.

Yeah that's decent, there was wind when I last checked. Bit of crosswind, though it's probably in the better direction.

Clincher?

Do we ride down the course to the start and then do a U turn across the road opposite the pub?
-
• #13018
No, ride along the back roads to Upper Froyle then down to the Hen and Chicken. Don't U turn on the course, dunno who the TK is but I had a friend DQ'd from the Charlotteville 50 last year for U turning.
Suppose you could dismount and walk across the carriageway but there's armco I think. Easier to just ride out 15 minutes before as a warmup.

Long. Ok thanks.
I thought this implied ride along coruse...

Also conditions on E2'25 are looking good.
Dowsett for comp record. -
• #13021
Fingers crossed for the E2/25. It'll be my first 25 of the year on a fast course.
-
• #13022
Good luck. Would have loved to be there.
-
• #13023
I'd be riding that if it wasn't ECCA only.
-
• #13024
Oh yeah that does seem like ride out on DC. I took the back roads last year, don't know if that was recommended or me getting lost from HQ though.
-
• #13025
Yeah, join an ECCA club ;)
It will have a number in it so no old ladies will be fainting when you ride past.
