    We depend heavily on EDF supplying electricity to the South East of England via nuclear power stations in northern France. Could leaving the EU leave us with a chronic shortage.

    If they don't sell it to us they'd have a surplus of electricity or they'd need to turn off/down some of their other plants which makes it cost more for them. It's in their best interests to generate electricity for us.

    We've also got cables connecting us to Netherlands, Northern Ireland and Rep of Ireland. There are also cables under construction for connections to Norway and Iceland (both homes to huge amounts of cheap clean hydroelectric and geothermal power).

  • Unlikely. Although it might cost more to import.

  • We pay for it, why would they want to stop supplying?
