I have a Goretex jacket for heavy rain winter days but for general rides or say sub sixty miles these Planet X AGU Secco condom jackets are great value for money, pack up in to their own little pouch at the collar, keep the rain out and are light enough, not brilliant at breathability but good enough.
I always figure you are going to be a bit wet from sweating or leakage but if you are still warm what the heck.
