853 fixable??

Any advice on ride ability / fix ability for this??

Should be easily fixable by any competent frame builder. The stay doesn't look bent so filling the dent may be enough, otherwise a new rear stay. Frame builder will advise.

That needs a professional opinion: some of the edges look creased and it's close to being the whole width of the tube.

The guy thinks a £20 braze will fix it, I'm not so sure.... can you reccomend anyone?

I'm told Mario Vaz's brother Winston is a good frame builder. Contact via Vaz Finishes, plenty of mentions of him on here.

Good shout!

Winston is ex-Roberts and one of the best in the business. He works upstairs and Mario is downstairs, so you could have it repaired and resprayed in one place.

Probably best to contact Winston via Varonha.

Winston is the man. Most London frame builders too busy building but winston will do repairs (or he did for me)
