My Coppi - believed to be a Genius Lugano.
To be honest it looks like most others on here except for some missing decals and a chrome seat post clamp lug. Forks are Mizuno CF.

Finally found myself a Coppi. Not the green Campionnissimo I really wanted but a (satisfying) pearl white Lugano 53 (Columbus Genius tubing).

Thanks but I think I paid too much for it (300 euro). But condition is OK and it's the kind of frames you don't find easily around here so I think I will get over it. ;-)
It's a very light frame too. I have several steel frames from mid till end nineties (1998 Master X Light, 1998 Look KG 243, 1996 Cinelli Supercorsa, 1998 Ciöcc Falco, 1994 Carrera Nivacrom) but I really think this is one of the lightest. I think I will finish it with modern parts to keep it as light as possible.

I think once you ride it, you'll think it was a bargain.
Mine weighs 9 kg with period parts but rides like it weighs 6 kg.

Hmm, now you really make me want to build it asap. ;-) What parts did you use for yours? You went for the DA7400?

Bump on an old thread...
After looking for a new commuter I came across a '97 Fausto Coppi Reparto Corse with misc Campag bits. Upon collection, its condition was much better than I had anticipated. After breaking a lever and getting a good deal on a Centaur groupset, I have decided it is much too nice to commute on. Now slowly undergoing a facelift.Photos from when I got it. More to follow.
