how is this ding ?, frame still ok ?

about to buy this frame, how bad does this ding look ?

My reckoning, as long as its not sharp its OK, obviously not perfect but usable.

Though do wait for a second opinion as this could just be baloney to justify some of my purchases.

It's a fairly good bargain at £70. If you want to make it good again you may have trouble getting the decals from Mercian without using them to repair/repaint. They'll probably roll out most of that dent.

I've got a Fuji with a ding about the same size, however mine with loads of paint missing as well. Been riding it for a year or so, no worries (yet)

Is it actually a Mercian? Some decals not under lacquer. Also I didn't think they used Cinelli BB shells, but might be wrong.
