I did some shopping on the GT today, would estimate the fishing bag at between 8-10kg. Was interested to see how it handled with a bit of a load. The fork I'm using is longer than standard and thus has relaxed the angles a bit, wasn't really sure what would happen once loaded.
Good news, handles fine. Very stable and doesn't feel particularly noodley.
Changed the 47 out for a 42 when I got home, felt a bit over geared.
If anyone's got a 42 campag 144bcd chainring kicking about let me know. The only 42s I have are quite worn.

Tall, but also looks quite short! Dig it.

It was either corona or Stella /:
I'm saddened you haven't enjoyed the artistic direction.

You say that but to have it the other way would be pure victim.
It would be harder to reach up to plus I'd have to move it even further inboard as it hits my lever... So even more difficult to ring.

Same as me with the porteur. You still considering 650bees?
-
• #12142
Rides nicely with the 28s tbh, if a nice/cheap pair of 650s popped up I might indulge but no hurry. I do like the idea of big squishy tyres.
Are you considering it too?
