Carnac aero Road helmet for £30 from planet-x. Worth a punt?

Just saw this, although I'll go for one in black/white/red that's £40. Perfect for me as I'm a cheapskate who isn't completely worried about aero (way bigger gains to be had elsewhere) but needs something from this decade (last helmet has a sticker with 'Apr 2006' inside) for stuff that requires them (MR24 and IM).

I went for it, it turned up, I look ridiculous. Proper mushroom, but quite light. Haven't dared wear it in public yet, but will do the trick if I ever race or maybe just on cold days to keep my head warm. Oh and it's a slightly weird fit, or my head's a weird shape.

Going back to the Felt pursuit bike, the riders in this clip with the crosswind coming from the drive side seem to be doing better than those going in the other direction, i.e. crosswind from the non-drive side
