  • Why do you need a backup Sinewave? What about a d1.igaro.com?

  • Wish I had gone for Vulka, they look cool, plus very adaptable.
My Cinelli neo morphe bars are nice and wide to rest my paws on, will add some gel pads too.
I'm travelling super light, fuck carting loads of shit around.
Need to start! Bored to tears going round and round Ricnmond Park with its suicidal livestock.

  • Fuck more choice. Got B&M Lumos IQ as primary, will wire up the sinewave "just in case"

  • I have a set under my desk that I ordered by mistake and now need to return unless you want to buy them? :)

I bought a set JUST for the arm pads on the TT bike a couple of years ago, sold the extensions to @mdcc_tester and forgot I still had the mounts. So all I needed to order was the extensions, not the full bars, which I have now done and fitted.

  • I have a PlugIII and D1 at the moment. Not used either.

    Kinesis with Vukas

  • Dropper mount doesn't quite work with the thickness of the Profile cage I have. Will try different bolts, pump mount or a different cage. I'm sure one combo will work.

Actually it now has side-mount cages so they might work with the included bolts.

  • Ah cheers but I've got to stop the spendz :(

  • I so need one of these, I can only fit small bottles due to my frame bag, which has been fine during winter but I will be fucked when it is summer.

  • Cancelled order of lockring tool from bike24 after they lied about stock levels.
Just sorted refund of my 2/3rds Hollowgram. Thanks Evans, no thanks CSG.
Waiting on probikekit to tell me how to return the aerobars I don't need.

I seem to have been using bike shops as saving accounts...

  • Even with the dropper, it won't give me a LOT more room. But if I free up enough, I might be able to get a skinnier bag made with wider but shorter velcro so it doesn't mess with my legs as much as the one in the pic does.

I got mine from @CarlosBI . I'll run it when I sort out the bolt length and see if it's worth getting custom framebag.

I like the idea of just having softgoods in the saddle bag and heavier, tools, batteries, etc in a framebag.

  • I had a similar thing with a dynamo hub, I emailed politely to enquire as at had been a couple of weeks and got a response telling me to be patient! Wouldn't use them again, rose bikes much more reliable for stock holding.

  • Will have a nose at yours later my frame is 54cm so it may not make enough difference anyway

  • "I like the idea of just having softgoods in the saddle bag and heavier, tools, batteries, etc in a framebag."
    ^This

  • Rose tell fibs about stock too though- still cant find any S-One tyres :(

  • Oooh aren't you on-trend? :P

  • Ah, sorry I took it off because it didn't fit.

If I remember I'll bring it along so you can check it out. It's pretty simple but requires correct bolt length.

  • Don't worry looking at my frame there is loads of space below, I will prob just order (or if i can be arsed make one)

  • You still after a dynamo hub? I have 2 x Sons 28 available (one centre locked, one rim) as I had to go for a SP hub as Son don't do a thrubolt with centrelock.

  • I learns the expensive way

  • 2 weeks to go, going to make a final selection on kit this weekend.
Cant decide between brooks swift and falcon pro saddle so going to take both and pack pro given its only about 200 grams . As they are both very different in configuration I have all bases covered. This ride will be about comfort and maintaining morale.
Plus having something to throw at the bears.

  • Although frankly I cant get scared by something that is basically a jumped up cuddly toy. Crocodiles on the other hand scare the shit out of me, the primeval drag you into a swamp motherfuckers.

  • You're going to carry a second saddle all the way across America? I can only admire your level of indecision :)

  • Think I probably got enough spares that I will have two bikes

  • Missed this! No, but thanks though got an SP which has been ace so far.

  • No problem, sold both sons - Ive got a SP too now- prefer the plastic cartridge connection
