Am I actually going to get to use my X-fusion fork before you?
Possibly. I was planning on fitting it this weekend, but have no rides planned any time soon.
Part of the reason I've been so slow, is that the Talbot rigid fork really is nice, and with big wheels/fat tyres, I've felt no urge to change. I've bought a crown race, head doctor and even a spare brake calliper to keep attached to the fork, for easy swaps, but there's still part of me that's apprehensive about adding an 'extra maintenance' component to the bike*
*The Thudbuster seatpost and Rohloff hub maintenance will be minimal.
