I am not going to mention their combined weight, but the bike's down to around 40lb now! Still all tandem/mtb rated kit on it too...

My cargo bike has a NuVinici. Its 35kg. My kids are 25kg and 35kg. I'm around 77kg. So a bit of kit you'r looking at 180kg.
Plenty of cargo bikers running Rohloff. When I was researching mine, I seem to remember folk raving about how solid they are under 'load'.
This'll be awesome.

Have you put much ride time one the X King and Mountain King combo? I decided on the same setup a while ago, but havent got around to building up my bike. How is it?
Ridiculously cool bike by the way. How tall are you?

@BareNecessities: Front suspension, tubeless tyres, wider bars, gears; where's it gonna end?
Next stop an Evil the Following full sus.

Am I actually going to get to use my X-fusion fork before you?

They've been good so far, although I've only used them on the sandy trails of Thetford and the clay of Epping. Not expecting them to excel in real gloop, but they've behaved well in moderately wet & muddy conditions.
How tall are you?
6'7"

After punching a tree on my last ride, I've gone back to a relatively narrow 750mm bar :-)
Tubeless has been nice so far. On the wide rims, I'm happily running 28psi rear and 23psi front, and that's at 115kg. I don't ride aggressively or through rocky terrain though, so there's no immediate danger of rim strikes.
Next stop an Evil the Following full sus.
I've gone for a soft tail instead...

Am I actually going to get to use my X-fusion fork before you?
Possibly. I was planning on fitting it this weekend, but have no rides planned any time soon.
Part of the reason I've been so slow, is that the Talbot rigid fork really is nice, and with big wheels/fat tyres, I've felt no urge to change. I've bought a crown race, head doctor and even a spare brake calliper to keep attached to the fork, for easy swaps, but there's still part of me that's apprehensive about adding an 'extra maintenance' component to the bike*
*The Thudbuster seatpost and Rohloff hub maintenance will be minimal.

While the fork is boxed up I've still got the option of returning it to CRC for another 6-7 months.

I saw a bigger headtube than this bike on instagram ..

Mine is 'only' 190mm.

My slant is still in the Box to be honest. Once its chopped to my size it'll be Beyond sale. So I'm waiting.

How big would it have to be to recreate the same bar height on a 23c tyre and 370mm a-c fork?
Ya, thats what I have, stops the death grip in its tracks, game changer for me.
