Orient Express - Cheap Chinese Rims / Wheels / Forks / Frames / Cranks / Etc

My fake POC glasses came on saturday. Really chuffed with them - they look clean, no random bits of plastic from the moulds left on, and came with 4 lenses (including polarising) and a hard case. Only tried the mirror lenses so far, but they seem really good - no/minimal distortion, clear, nice. Very pleased for 20 dollarbucks. Only took a few weeks to deliver too - less in fact. Ordered on April 29th.

I ordered my jabwreckers from aliexpress on 7th. Just noticed from itella.fi online tracking that they are at my local post office tomorrow on the 17th. Quite quick! Will post initial review tomorrow.

If they're the ones I think you mean I had a set. They were fine-ish, the dropouts were not quite level and the disc tabs were on the limit of acceptable tolerances. Despite that I was never concerned about death but I wouldn't buy them again either unless you really can't spring for anything slightly better quality.

Drop the saddle.

If that's how your saddle is comfortable, it's too high (or your bars are too low).

I was riding with the mark / SBC crew the other day and they said they would trust them for MTB use. Road use is bascally nothing compated to that.

exactly, if you're not braking on them, they're very unlikely to fuck up ¯_(ツ)_/¯ I'd ride them with rim brakes too but that's cause I'm a #bad #lad and because there are no big hills round 'ere

aerodynamics are still a bit iffy but probably better than nothing

Thanks for the #internetbikefit...the saddle is on there temporarily but jeez, the nose is only half a degree down measured with a clinometer....I think the bad photos have exaggerated it.

All good. This was the first bike I've had with internal routing, and to be honest, there was nothing tricky about it at all.

They're pretty good, the mechanism gives them away as fake straight away as it's a bit flexible and floppy. But for that price who care, I have rad dad chic now:

Received my 'Bontrager XXX' integrated bars the other day. I was very happy with the quality, they seem well made and strong. Plus pretty light! Got them fitted today and I'm very happy with the look!
