Perfect. Any chance you know what a Halo track hub takes? Not a Novatec knockoff unfortunately (as far as I can tell)

Dunno. The axle looks remarkably similar to the Novatec one so I'd guess at a 10mm ID bearing, and 6000 is by far the most common.

Just bought this for the pricey sum of 15,5€. Plan is to change the dropouts to sliding Tange IRD and headtube to a straight 1 1/8". Seat stays are banana on the Olmo so they will need to be changed as well (will cut some from a bicycle graveyard in my friends student dorm). Then probably a budget 1x10 build with mechanical disk brakes. What are the options for a CX fork with a disc mount and straight steerer (considering the Orlowsky MAX rip off), maybe some 26" MTB rigid forks?

55cmTT, 50cmST and 75 degree ST/HT. 28c's and full columbus max rides beatifully

Cheers. I'll order some spares for the front novatec and see if they fit the rear halo too

Is that rec hubs ?
I don't like the black screws on the crank and you can fit the brake levers a bit uper IMO
What saddle a you thinking of ? -

1x something question here:
On a double crank, you shouldn't cross the chain (big ring-big cog or small ring-small cog)
But using the Same crank with one ring, shouldn't the angle of the chain on the big or small cog will be the same as on a double?
Or the reason of the cross chain causing problem is mostly the front mech and the other ring?Cheers,

Just got this.
Best thing is when i sell the crank and BB i have nearly the money back is spend on it -

That was an 8 speed (and earlier) thing, when chains weren't as flexible.
Certainly with 10 & 11 it's not a problem (except the chain could still catch the "big dog", when using the smaller sprockets).

Does anyone know where to get hold of a 52,53 or 54t narrow wide chainring so I can go from standard 6800 road double to 1x for crit racing? wolftooth goes up to 44t, any alternatives? Would like a falco but can't figure out their website to purchase..

Why...why would you do dis?
-
• #108173
I wouldn't recommend unless the crits you are doing are absolutely flat .. I have wolftooth 42t on 6800 on my winter bike with 11-36, its perfect for its purpose but I wouldnt race on it with the gaps in gears.
If you are doing it for tumblr then I would recommend it.
