I have a colleague who rode an aluminium hybrid Allez (or similar) into the ground. Frame broke at seat / top tube. She'd bought it from Brixton Cycles, had definitely swapped wheels and probably other parts. Brixton managed the whole process - she ended up with a whole new bike. I think it took a couple of weeks, though.
