Pegoretti Palosanto 60cm, Campagnolo Record

I have held off selling this for a while, but the reality is buying a house is stupid expensive and I need to raise some cash.

Late 1990s Pegoretti Palosanto - one of the first models Dario offered when he started building under his own name.

It's a standard size 60 which means it has a 60cm seat tube and 58.5cm top tube with a 73 degree head angle, 72 seat angle.

It looks like a classic steel race bike, but when you look closer you notice the tube profiles which are highly unusual with each designed by Dario to achieve a specific purpose. It also has the original unicrown Pegoretti steel fork which was only made for a few years.

Build kit is pretty much full 10 speed Campagnolo Record - ergos, brakes, front and rear mechs, chainset, bottom bracket, seatpost and headset. The wheels are Campagnolo rear and Mavic 501 front laced to Mavic Reflex tubular rims with Continental Competition tubs fitted.

Generally the bike is in good condition - everything shows light cosmetic signs of wear and the frame has some paint chips and marks. I was planning to send it to Dario in a few years time to get it refinished with a Ciavete paint scheme.

This is an exceptionally rare opportunity to buy a Pegoretti (current starting price for a new one is £2200 for the Duende frame) including a steel fork (no longer available).

I would like £900 collected for the whole bike, or £500 for the frame / fork / headset (plus BB if you want it). Collection from EC2V preferred.
