That ESA is gonna be special. I like the Omega rims, have a set on an Alan. Only thing is I don't ride it much for fear of wearing down the braking surface. A side effect of nos stuff I suppose.

Would appreciate some guidance with this. I have a good idea what it is but not 100% sure as what I've been able to find so far online is a bit sketchy.
I think it's a Super sprint circa '88. Looking at the '88 @saarf catalogue scan and assuming there is some hierarchy to the catalogue ordering I guess it sits below the Super in the model range?
Found this thread useful but not conclusive

Same paint scheme as the Superissimo SLX but not that of course but sure looks like the Super Sprint. What do you reckon?

Yesterday spotted in Antwerp : a museumpiece completely ruined:
Ludo Peeters'Mexico superconfex . Owner bought it for 50 euro , seller asked 100 he said , but he found it too much... Cobalto brakes (" yes i lost those blue stones , no big deal ....")
A beautiful Altus derrie and top of the bill drilled holes in the seatstays to attach a mudguard....
My heart was bleeding....

Just payed a visit to the local LBS, guys had a Colnago Carbon Volo frameset sitting on the ground..
Never seen one in the flesh, absolutely stunning! -

Looking good
Ah yes that's clearer and makes perfect sense. My pal I bought the frame from has an ESA. He wasn't sure which of the two to keep but the Mexico held more sentimental value to him and I was grateful he let the Master go
