What's the best (cheapest) option for posting this to Halifax? Courier or just take it to Post Office? It's a warranty replacement.

You probably fixed it already, but you're also missing the closing tag for the div that's opened on line 41.

Hire cars - are there anythings you'd suggest to go for/avoid?
Buy yourself year long worldwide excess insurance - £40ish will cover your excess (which could be in the high hundreds) for any car you drive. Meaning you don't have to worry about being dicked over for scratches & bumps.

^ This. I have this one: http://www.insurance4carhire.com/european-car-hire-excess-insurance (the Europe Family & Partners 60 one) and it also specifically covers the Zipcar excess, so no needing to buy their expensive waivers either.

I've had it with these https://uk.protectyourbubble.com/carhire-insurance.html If you're planning to hire for more than about three or four days or so in a year it works out cheaper to get an annual policy.
They paid out to my mate with only a moderate amount of hassle after he'd been charged by a hire company.

Thinking of doing one night of cycling / camping over the upcoming bank holiday, taking bikes in the car or we can rent bikes with new just started getting into cycling girlfriend, any recommendations of where to go?
We both have bikes that are suitable for light off-roading (gravel road type stuff) or we could just drive with camping stuff and hire MTBs if you recommend somehwere more suitable for that

New build headset: integrated, internal or trad external?
-
• #76390
It should at minimum have multiple grooves in it. :)
-
• #76391
External for ease, integrated/internal for steez
-
• #76392
But I'm being told that going trad 1 1/8" is the equivalent of speccing a 1" bike now. I want external but the cycle industry god appear to have spoken. There doesn't seem much in the way of choice for a CX fork with discs of the right look and weight.
Of the other two which is most future proof? (How much time is left for external before forks go for maaad money?)

44mm headtube.
-
• #76394
if discs then integrated/internal fo sho. 44mm HT?
-
• #76395
But integrated ≠ internal.

What about tapers?

What was wrong with the old system?

What was wrong with the old system?
Profit.
get 44mm HT and you have plenty of choice. You can even put a straight fork in there if you want.
