Anyone who has ever wandered through Manchester Market Street on a Saturday has seen Alan Dent busking outside Primark. He’s a really lovely, intelligent bloke. I sat with him for a while at the weekend and he talked to me about Buddhism and the subjects he studied at University. He then read me the following quote:
“The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. It should transcend personal God and avoid dogma and theology. Buddhism answers this description. If there is any religion that could cope with modern scientific needs it would be Buddhism.” – Albert Einstein.

That quote reminds me of this one by none other than the Dalai Lama:
“If scientific analysis were conclusively to demonstrate certain claims in Buddhism to be false, then we must accept the findings of science and abandon those claims.”
