^ To be honest, the whole 1 piece crankset affair is a bit shonky. A better long term solution would be either a 3 piece bmx crankset and sealed bottom bracket (will actually be quite tricky to find these days though as bmx has long since moved on from the big 'USA' bottom bracket shells) or a converter and a standard road or mtb crankset and bb.
