I'd take a not quite in form Barkley over a returning from long term layoff Wilshire, who else are you thinking can take the creative load, Milner? Henderson? Lallana?

I agree about Sterling, he should be nowhere near the team, nor should Wilshire. Even Sturridge is a risk. I'd far rather he was left at home to begin a speicalised pre-season program

Stones and Barkley may well have been wank all season, but they've been less want than the vast majority of others.
