Colnago Master AD10.
30th Anniversary Edition.
Colnago 59 (they measure ctr-top, so a 57cm ctr-ctr).
Would suit somebody 6ft – 6ft 2in.
Immaculate chrome.
Immaculate and amazing paint.
Treated with Frame Saver internally.
Includes threaded gear stops and dropout adjusters.
Fitted with Chris King Black Sotto Voce headset and brand new Campagnolo Super Record bb cups.
Will also include 3 x 10mm Chris King spacers and Thomson 1, 1/8 stem adapter (these still use a 1 inch steerer, so you will need this to run a modern stem).
No bars or stem, these are just holding the headset together. Price is for frame, fork, headset, spacers and adapter.
For the sake of completeness, unfortunately when building the bike, the wheel pulled over in the dropouts (I hadn’t tightened the skewer enough) and the tyre took a tiny bit of paint off the inside of the non-driveside chainstay. This did not damage the chrome (it was a very slow speed contact), and has been lacquered over to prevent it from worstening. I also applied some anti-rub tape over the spot to prevent it from happening again. I also did the other side as a preventative measure. With a tyre fitted, you can’t see the spot and it is the only blemish on an otherwise immaculate frameset. Nothing other than a superficial cosmetic issue.
The frameset has covered less than 100 miles since brand new. It has been built, ridden a couple of times, and I have decided to thin out the collection and go back to titanium.
