Fuck that, when he finally got nicked for it he said:
I learned that my family is more important than having designer clothes on your back or expensive trainers, or loads of money.
My issue with that is that earlier in the article he uses 'can't afford to live on his wages' as an excuse, then it appears he actually just can't afford fancy trainers and clothes unless he's nicking bikes. Of course he's selfish.

Seen this and I'm not sure what worse: the crime itself, or the comments along the lines of "This guy is so immoral, how can he live with himself? Imagine stealing so you can buy things that aren't food, rent or bills? How selfish".
