Looking for a new car when i get back from holiday in a few weeks.

Will almost certainly be a new 430d xDrive. Something like this:

Anything else in that performance / price bracket i should consider?

Whilst I'm obviously a massive fan of BMW's, I'm not a fan of the bowel-shattering depreciation on new cars.

I'd look for something maybe slightly less expensive, but more fun. Like a Porsche or an M3.

I don't disagree but I've been looking at used ones for a few months now and I haven't found a single one with all the specs I want yet.

I need something more practical than the Porsche and with better mpg than the m3.
