Kitchenaid stainless looks nice, quite £. The top IKEA stuff is actually really good and much cheaper than a snob brand equivalent.

i was looking at the le Creuset 3 ply stainless and then saw the All Clad stuff which is apparently pretty fucking awesome (but pretty fucking pricey and only available in 'mericaland)

They do carry all the Le Creuset so worth a trip if you want to get your hands on it first to feel the "heft."

Oh I have nothing against the le Creuset 3ply. It's been brilliant - utter workhorse kitchenware - use, wash, rinse, repeat.

You don't really know how shit your saucepans are until you get some amazing ones.

£215 is standard pricing for the 3 piece set- you can get it from Amazon on Prime at that price. There's also a 5 piece on Amazon for £385. I picked my 3 piece set up at a John Lewis sale for £190 or so. Check ebay as well - plenty going new there usually.
