Rapha, nice but a bit pricey?

Are the shades available in the shops yet?

How robust are they? They look like they would disintegrate the first time I shoved them in a bag at track league.

Comes with a hard case no?

If the Rapha glasses are anywhere near as good as the Assos ones they're clearly based on, they are well worth the money.

The hard case is a tin box. It does not go in ones pocket.

The thing in the middle is a soft case which is actually quite robust for pocket storage'ing.

They feel/ look pretty decent on. Seriously considering them.

Just received PT bibs and PT aero jersey after taking advantage of the 20% off bibs and bundle deal

As a reference I have medium classic bibs and a couple of jerseys in medium (lightweight and classic) which I find to be bordering on baggy. I look like an over stuffed sausage in the Medium PT kit - tits and everything - with my obease 76kg on my dwarfy 186 cm....
I could condsider sending back the medium bibs to try the extra long ones in the same size. I double checked measurements and am within the medium range. But the jersey was bursting at the seams. I dont need to be that aero....
Trying to find another jersey to swap and perhaps the full black one (special edition something...) could be in the running.

Medium PT aero really dug into my arm pits, went for the large instead. Harking back to earlier discussion of Rapha employees snarking at sizing requests, I actually got complimented on very broad shoulders and a larger would fit better. Think I'm slightly taller and a little lighter than you

Perhaps. Was expecting PT to be closer to my club kit (not Rapha club kit). Found it quite a drastic differnce in size from same clothing brand between the Pro and other lines. So yes - I guess I dont have the same requirements for aero on training rides as others. I race in my club kit.

Are any of those in the know able to hint at the release date for Mondial Issue 3? I see the product page has been changed to incorporate both back issues, so I'm hoping that's a sign...
