What time would this aim to finish? Last train back to London is 22:12.
Also what would be the best route to take you to the venue if you don't have a car?

We will aim to finish about 9:30-9:45
Get the train to Pokesdown station and ride past hurn airport up Hurn Road and the venue is on the left.
We will be running a ride that leaves at 5 (meet at 4:30) from Velo Domestique (near Pokesdown Station) to the venue.
There is plenty of parking for anyone driving

Having never entered a crit race before. Is this the kind of race a beginner could enter?

@Portski we are open to riders who haven't participated in a criterium before, however only if you are comfortable riding brakeless and aren't likely to have issues riding at high speed on a tight course in a bunch.
We just want to avoid any major crashes
If you want to come on down, see what you think of the race and maybe participate in some of our other criterium events throughout the year, or even enter on the day if you feel you'd be comfortable racing.

Thanks. One more thing, what does the course look like and how long is it?

Can we pay on the day?

@BigH no problem, I am sure there will be places to stay if people don't need to get the last train home. We will be releasing the circuit layout later this week, it's a shot (450 meters) technical course with a couple of hairpins, should make for some fun riding.
@Borek you can pay on the day but it'd be massively appreciated if you could book your spot in advance (even if it's the night before) so we can allocate rider numbers and qualifying groups asap.

@VeloSurMer really enjoyed my first ever crit if i did run into the gravel trap halfway through the qualifier, then come last in the 'last chance round'.
Thanks for putting on a great event, hopefully i'll be able to make the next one.
