• Yeah, I enjoy it too. There are some days when it's kinda gridlocked, or you just hit every red light, but on the days when it's clear you can just absolutely cane it (safely) both ways. There's a few dodgy bits and a lot of lorries and coaches, but if you ride sensibly (i.e. not like the guy in the video above), then it's fine.

I'm on it most days, so say hi if you spot a tall guy on a blue Kinesis.

  • I completely agree with you and yes it can totally jam up, especially in the evenings.

If your Kinesis is the size of a small horse then I have definitely spotted you.

Recently I have been on a dark green Brooklyn but now I'll be prominently on a black Boardman TK pro with fenders, I'll look out for you!

Ha, yeah that sounds about right. I'll keep an eye out too :)

I find the worst bits are coming off the flyover heading east and the bit past the train bridge heading east before new cross.

On the other hand, I recently did a commute all the way home from victoria to new cross (7ish miles) at an avg of 19.2mph. I think I only hit 2 reds the whole way. Definitely a rarity though (and a mild #boastpost).
