Nice one.
I'm not sure they are really famous enough for a homage, I just like the numbers on the dial, I wouldn't have a date either mind but

If I was in the market for a Glashütte I'd probably be more likely to go for a more classic piece.

I remember scouring a military / aviation modders forum and contacting a guy who made what I deemed the most attractive modded watch at the time. (In the states)
Can't for the life of me remember which forum / or my login. :oP

Oh dear.
Murts posted a picture of a modded Seiko about three or four years ago - it was a real beauty.

What do you mean?
Can't afford a Glashutte unfortunately, well over a grand and they rarely seem to come up. Just finished my degree though and looking to make myself something

Todays Luncheon club guest speaker. Mr Roger Smith.
Finally something worth being here for. -

Wow. Incredibly jealous.
Ask if he's got any spare watches lying around that he's not fussed about.
I'd be happy with one of these:

I got this modded Seiko from Harry Ng at Yobokies. Seemed decent to deal with

Tough year not so much bike time, didn't like feeling like a fraud on a bike forum.
Black top has returned to my life, and there fore I have returned to yours.
Miss Me? -

No one rides a bike anymore, Andy... Of course we missed you... Hope life is on the up, mate... 😘

Tis all good. Thankyou.

Harry Ng's great to deal with, honest and helpful.

What a thoroughly nice bloke.
His latest commission looks awesome.
Two watches for the same customer. One for the left wrist and a mirrored one for the right.
Opulence is alive and well. -

Another Apple Watch wanted - 38mm aluminium this time
This is getting tedious.... Bought a 38mm SS for Mrs 'Nidle, a 42mm SS for me to have a play with and, now No1 daughter is walking around in a strop because she wants one.
On the basis that I might get my ZenEx back from her (justified the wife's one by reclaiming my Breitling Colt) does anyone have a 38mm aluminium Apple Watch that they want to offload? On the basis that the ZenEx will need some serious polywatch action (or more likely a new crystal) given the 'care' given to a watch by a twelve year old I'd even be happy with one sporting a couple of battle scars.

Wow, your family might actually double the sales numbers for the Apple watch.

......and iPads, Macs, Airbooks, iPhones, Apple TVs, wireless routers (3 in this house)... The ghost of Jobs is giggling at us.
Have to say though, only had the watch for a day and a half and (whilst it will definitely not be replacing my mechanicals) it is rather fun.

Guessing you have had to charge it four times so far?
-
• #19173
Actually battery life seems pretty good. Dropped it on the cradle last night and despite heavy playing with it today I'm at 87% charge.

Mad magnetic leather loop strap is pretty cool too.... Need to light a smoke when your hands are full? No worries mate;

Murts did this for me a few years ago - parts from Dagaz. He only used one hammer to do it too.

That'd be really good if the builder had taken the time to make sure that the lume on the hands was the same as that of the dial.
Not really into homages and I've never been a massive fan of bubbles on sapphires.
Parts are from either Dagaz or Harry Ng at Yobokies.
