The cold water pipe under my bath is leaking and I don't have any access (the bath panel is tiled on). The original plan was to regulate shower temperature on the boiler until I got the bathroom redone. This is starting to bug me so the plan is to take the side off, sort out the plumbing and replace with a cheap bath panel.
The current tiled section looks like tiles stuck to a piece of ply attached to wooden battens. I assume that once I've removed the tiles/lump of ply and sorted out the plumbing then the panel can just be attached to the existing battens and sealant run around to finish.

Sound like a plan or am I missing something?
