I kickstarted a watch from Element 24 a while ago and it just turned up. It's really nicely built and a good size.

I like that.

As a piece of technology its the mutts nuts.
As a watch, its ok. It tells you the time but needs charging once or twice a week.
As a piece of jewelry? Looks nicer than a Royal Oak in my opinion :P

Is it better than a Suunto?
I still don't get AP's. I have a pal who's worked for them for years and he's always waffling on about them.

I think the Suunto are better for daily use as a watch. They look a bit nicer and fit under a sleeve better.
I haven't used Suunto as much as Garmin for activity tracking but I think Garmins are in a different league imho. GPS/Glonass lock is really quick and the menu system is a breeze to navigate.
The smart watch features on the Garmin Fenix 3 are also pretty impressive. Things like music remote control, sms notifications and call answering. I've got all those turned off but pretty good if that sort of thing floats your boat.
I think its a bit crap to sell a "premium" version for £100 more with the only difference being a Sapphire crystal though.

Actually, on balance I think I prefer the looks of the Fenix 3 over the Ambit 3. The Fenix has a nice chunky old school digital look to it.

Long shot, does anyone have a Citizen auto chrono 67-9119 they want a new home for?
The ones that is slight Speedy lookalike. -

Cheers, and the icing on the cake is that it has sapphire glass, which I need because I tend to destroy watches.

Smart looking watch though.
I'm currently modding a Seiko.

I've still got a Fenix II for sale for £100, includes three charging leads, all accessories including a handful of straps etc.

How easy is it?
Where did you start?
Is it possible to have an internal bezel?
-
• #19145
Fairly simple really.
You can buy most of the tools you need for about fifteen quid.

I'm currently modding a Seiko.

I've got the 43mm Trident Pro if you want to check it out - I've got huge mansized wrists but it doesn't feel like a particularly large watch.
