surely you contradict yourself with that statement ?.....just because your taste is different to mine.....I think classic road frames with risers on look ridiculous !! but some peeps seem to love them, and spend their hard earned on them ( fair play to them ).I don't have "higher regard" for my own bikes..( have sold on two of them)...I lust after a lot of the bikes I see on here..but sadly don't have the funds for them.

Not really. Even when I don't like a particular bike which somebody posts in this thread (and that's the majority of them), I don't feel the need to comment as long as I can see why a person with some taste might think they belong here.

If you read enough of this thread, you'll see that aesthetic relativism is widely deprecated; the regulars are a bunch of Kantians
