Yeah. Just must have them.
They look like a mix of the assos/poc glasses.

Have you washed it in-between those 5 commutes?

you can also try riding slower to prevent the build up of sweat

Sigh... I guess that's aimed at me. Yes I do wash my armpits with soap and water. Quite partial to this at the moment
Have you washed it in-between those 5 commutes?
Yes I have, but not with Rapha wash. I wonder if that's where I'm going wrong ?

Unfortunately my commute is down one side of a valley, and then up the other side. I could try walking I guess to reduce the chance of perspiration. Will try that.

While I'm open to most things, I take it you haven't experienced the smell of 100% polyester and antiperspirants ?
Try commuting with some kitchen roll stuffed in to your pits, buffer zone.
Thanks, I'll also try that on my way home while walking up the other side of the valley just to be sure

I have other nice but a bit pricey garments for doing that very thing.

Only £140... think I'll try some on before I order Oakleys.
-
• #25740
Ah but if you want non poo colourd lenses, they're £80.
Nice, by pricey.
-
• #25741
oh no they come in pink 😳
and just when i was going to buy some moody oakleys
-
• #25742
Yeah, This.
Plus spare lens they come in at £185. Which is good value vs POC.but vs. http://www.probikekit.co.uk/sports-clothing/salice-012-rw-sport-sunglasses-fuchsia/blue/11038530.html
They're not even that pink.... -
• #25743
I'm in danger of overdoing it on the pink, so I'm probably gunna just get the extremely cheap oakleys ¯_(ツ)_/¯
-
• #25744
I've been testing these PT glasses. The lenses are phenomenal.
-
• #25745
Don't be silly, you can't overdo pink!
-
• #25746
good because I've got a cap and 2 bidons in the post
god forbid I scrape together enough money for a core jersey and arm screens...
-
• #25747
Shame you can't purchase them with a chosen lense. But get that brown one as default and then have to buy other.
Everyone knows jet black or mirrored are the only lenses to be had. -
• #25748
Rapha have been cunning with their pricing i reckon. When I first looked and saw £140 i was very surprised at the relative cheapness. But £80 for a different lense set, which I'd guess you're more than likely to want at some point - for example for low-light days - is a bit of a joke.
I think I got my oakleys for around £140, but they have a low light lense and a general sunny conditions lense.
Looks wise i'd say theyre pretty average. Am sure they'll be perched atop many noses in Kent and Surrey very soon.

I'm keeping my eyes peeled for that pink XS jersey for you too. ;-)
