• In Vienna the vegetasia restaurants are unreal. I don't know why the good meat replacement stuff hasn't hit the UK market yet, even the local vegan fair didn't have it.
    No good food means less uptake means less vegans/vegetarians and so on.

    Chicken and egg problem. Well a seed and plant problem perhaps... ;)

  • The schnitzel is good in Vienna. Simply cooked in lashings of butter. Served with buttery potatoes fried with bacon bits.

    I used to be vegetarian and I can emphatise. It's just crap if you've very little choice in the supermarket/restaurants. Mostly due to laziness as quite a few places around the world eat a lot less meat so you can borrow recipes there.
