I wondered if anyone use 'racing flats' for road races? If so, do you find saving an extra few grams make any difference, other than the psychological benefit. If you do use a different shoe for race days, what should I look for in a good flat and do you have any specific recommendations?
I race in flatter shoes than my training shoes - for race NB Zantes.
But I have custom foot beds that I put in all my running shoes so the difference between shoes isn't as marked as it could be
